Description: Known for its serpentine spire, the tower of the baroque church leads you 90 metres above street level. Initiated by the entrepreneurial King Christian IV, the building of the church started in 1617, but the last steps towards the top of the spire were not until 1752. Today, the tower is a popular tourist attraction with its 400 steps – the last 150 are on the outside of the tower – giving you a unique view from above.
